Classic Car Overview
This 1956 Ford Customline is a beautifully maintained, turn-key classic that is ready to drive and enjoy. It is powered by a Jasper Thunderbird V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission and is equipped with power steering, power brakes, and air conditioningfeatures that make it a pleasure to drive in todays traffic.
I have owned this car since 2006 after purchasing it from a collector in Montana. The car spent much of its earlier life in the Houston, Texas area before coming to Pennsylvania in September 2012. Since then it has been garage kept, never driven in winter, and carefully maintained.
Finished in its factory-correct Bermuda Blue and Colonial White color combination, the car presents exceptionally well. The paint, chrome, stainless trim, glass, and interior are all in very nice condition, and the car receives compliments wherever it goes.
The Jasper Thunderbird V8 starts easily, runs strong, and provides dependable performance. Combined with the automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning, this is a classic Ford that can be comfortably driven to local cruise nights, weekend events, or on longer trips.
Included with the sale are the original owners manuals, documentation, and records accumulated during my ownership.
This is not a trailer queen or concours restoration. It is an honest, well-maintained driver that has been cared for by the same owner for nearly twenty years. You could not build a car to this standard for the asking price.
