1956 Ford Customline
Car for sale in Gilmer, Texas 75645
From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.
The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

Classic Car Overview
1956 Ford Customline $5,000
Selling 2 1956 Ford Fairlane 2dr cars. Both cars are without drive train. The Yellow and white car is a complete car and in very restorable shape, The black and white car is in fair condition with the exception of the floor being rusted out and needing sheet metal work on both quarters. It could be a great parts car or race car. Floor has been cut out. Floor joist are still intact. The rest of car disassembled. Black and white car has a Vermont clear title. Yellow and white car does not have a title. I have all the parts for the disassembled car and would be willing to reassemble it for transport. Fenders, hood, deck lid, doors, bezels, trim, seats and other interior parts. Also bought a complete front frame made of 2x3 steel with a mustang II independent front suspension, coil over shocks, manual rack and wilwood disc brakes. Frame is 60" long with the correct hub to hub for the 56 Fairlane. As well as a rear section that is 2x4 steel with 4 link bars, some brackets, rods with ends and coil over shocks. I do not have the rear endfor the new rear sub frame. Black and white car was going to be my race car. None of the parts have been installed. Factory rear end is still under the black and white car. Both cars are rollers. I've invested close to $10k into both cars and all parts. Asking $5000 o.b.o. for EVERYTHING. No time and no place to do the work.
Serious inquiries please!
