1956 Chevrolet Nomad

The price I have on this car does not reflect the true quality of it. There are Nomads out there priced tens of thousands more that are not this nice. My older age is taking me in a different direction therefore Im selling it. It was originally built in Oakland and until I acquired it a few years ago it was always a California/Arizona car.

Under the hood is a 1967 Corvette 427 stroked to a 468 and built by Roslands Motorsports in California (build specs and receipts available) with Dougs ceramic coated Headers, Holley carb, Griffin radiator, proline dryer, milidon high capacity oilpan, billet component mount, chrome *A/C compressor, power steering pump, dual master cylinder and power brake booster, pulleys etc. Mounted behind it is a tight shifting turbo 400 with a kick down, Milidon finned oil pan, B&M shifter, B&M torque converter, frame mounted DERALE remote fan/transmission oil cooler and a fresh professionally built 12 bolt positraction rear differential.

The Chassis was fitted with CCP front tubular upper and lower A arms, adjustable coil shocks, CCP traction bars, 4 wheel disc brakes, Aero Space brake calipers, rear air shocks, 16 American Torque wheels with Nitto tires front and rear, all custom fabbed and powder coated inner fender wells.

The Interior has the original seats that have been re-done, tilt power steering, power brakes, *Vintage A/C, Classic sound 300 watt AM/FM/BT stereo, Classic Industries speedo and gauges, and all new Pro Lazer marked wiring throughout the car.

The overall body, stainless trim and chrome is in great condition and the body is as solid as can be with no rust apparent anywhere and the floor pans are originals are rust free. The body is laser straight and the paint is very nice.

The few problems I know of on this car:
The horn is inoperative.
The A/C stopped working (but is all there)
The chrome trim that goes around the passenger door window is pitted (I replaced the driverside, its new)

Honestly, I would rate this Nomad a 9 out of 10. It was built to drive, not just look at! It could be a trailer queen with a little more work but I enjoy driving my cars, not just looking at them.
