We are pleased to present this 1956 Chevrolet Corvette. Purchased by the current owner around 10 years ago and mechanically restored over the last 5 years with period correct replacement or rebuilt parts. Restored to the original Venetian Red exterior paint with Beige coves is in great condition with a matching hard top and new black soft top. Although it does not the original 265 Turbo Fire V8, engine casting date of February 27th 1956 and car build date of September 10th 1956, it is period correct for the vehicle and runs great/ The 3 speed manual transmission is not original but has a period correct casting date of July 8, 1956. Both were rebuilt in 2015. Other work done since 2015 includes a new Black Ice radiator, wiring harnesses from Lectric Limited, rebuilt gauges, rebuilt carbs by Bob Kunz in St. Louis Missouri, rebuilt radio and speaker from K&B in Atlanta Georgia and much more. All documented with receipts. The red and white interior is also in great shape. The correct wheel covers are not installed but are included with the car. We can arrange shipping anywhere.
