The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

Classic Car Overview

To Potential Buyers, I am selling my late husband’s dream car. It’s a white 1956 Chevrolet Corvette in perfect condition. He bought it in November of 2015 and drove it less than 300 miles before his passing in August of 2016. He had wanted a Corvette like this since he was a teenager and knowing he had little time left on this earth I agreed he should buy one. Now that he is gone, I wish to give it a good home because it is too much of a muscle car for me. Below is a description of the vehicle: 1. Year, Make and Model - 1956 Chevrolet Corvette2. Exterior color – Polo White, 3.Interior color – Red4.Vin Number – E56S003072  5.Original Miles Driven – 83,203.  6.It has both original Hard and Soft tops, both are white exterior, the Hard top has a Red interior to match the seats7.Engine – 265 CI V-8 with dual Quad carburetors – all originalTransmission – Manual 3 speed   8. Body and Paint – the body has no imperfections or Bondo, it has been repainted once  9. Interior upholstery – It has been re-upholstered to original specs but I don’t know when and is in perfect condition10.Wheels – The wheels and tires are brand new and purchased in November 2015 when Kevin bought the car because he wanted Mags. I still have the original wheels and hub caps which are red and silver (See Photo) and will be included with the purchase of the Corvette.History of the vehicle:I believe that my husband was the fourth owner. The original owner (Helen Herman)purchased the car in 1956 and drove it until 1974. That year it was put into storage until her death in 2000. It was sold to a company called Byers Precision Mfg. Co. Inc. in 2000 and gifted to a longtime friend of the company’s (Linda Westwood) in 2005. My husband purchased it from an auto sales company in San Carlos California called San Francisco Sports Cars who were the agents for Linda Westwood. I have and will give to the buyer of Kevin’s car all maintenance records dating back to 1957 which I believe are complete since the original purchase of the vehicle. This Corvette is presently stored at my home in Georgetown, California. How to make an offer, request more information or purchase this Corvette: My E-mail address is chevycorvette1956@gmail.com. The sale price in this ad is like E-bay, meaning the sales price of $95,900 is ‘buy it now’ but I will entertain other offers. I do have a minimum price I will sell it for and anything below that will be counter offered if you give me your E-mail address in your offer. All I ask is that you don’t make a ridiculously low offer. Thank you for reading my ad. Sincerely, Lynette
