LOCATION: Fayetteville, GA (Approximately 25 miles south of Atlanta)

MODEL HISTORY: 1956 is one of the most desirable years for classic Chevrolets. This car was manufactured as a 150, but has been significantly upgraded with higher-series exterior trim and the Delray interior (which we understand was an option for 150 models in 1956).

DRIVE REPORT and YouTube VIDEOS: This fine 1956 has been given the performance treatment by its expert Chevy enthusiast and owner, and drives beautifully as demonstrated. We tested the operationals of the car during the photoshoot and found issue only with some of the lighting as follows: No brake lights, No reverse lights and No front parking lights. SUMMARY: This car is an historic survivor that has had much time, money and effort invested to make it suitable for enjoyable driving and proud display at shows. The vast majority of 1956 automobiles no longer exist in ANY condition! The new owner should expect that most ALL classic cars of this vintage are works in progress. There will likely ALWAYS be something that needs attention, maintenance, and/or replacement/repair. There is no perfect example and how close to perfect it may be depends on the owners attitude, talent, time to invest, and monetary resources. The new owner is, in effect, the next caretaker because like a family pet this classic is entirely dependent upon its owner for survival!

Due to the age of the Vehicle, the lack of continuous records since new, and the limitations of the odometers design; the actual mileage cannot be determined. Therefore, NO warranties expressed or implied are in effect as to actual mileage of this Vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: The State of Georgia did not issue Automobile Titles until 1962. Therefore, this car is not required to have a title and the space for a Title number on the registration is blank. Because all states must respect the registration and title laws of other states, this car can be successfully registered, insured and driven in any state. Whether a title will be issued to the new owner depends on the DMV laws of the new owner's state. If you have questions on this, please consult your local DMV office.

Because this car is primarily driven only on short local trips - and is untested for long trips - we recommend that it be transported to its new locale.
