Classic Car Overview
We just acquired this beautiful 1955 T-Bird Roadster from the collection of a longtime friend and local collector who bought the car a few years ago from a longtime owner. It was restored many years ago but has stood the test of time extremely well mostly because it was always garaged and pampered. It looks absolutely amazing and runs and drives incredibly well! CHECK IT OUT!!
The all-original body is solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame and the Raven Black paint may be older but has a deep luster and show car shine. We just cut, buffed and polished it and added a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the shine too. It also has a very nice white convertible top as well as its original hard top and the chrome, trim and weatherstripping are all in good condition too.
Powered by its original 292c.i.-193h.p. 4bbl. V-8 engine that starts right up even on the coldest of days. It runs impressively quiet, smooth and strong. We were told it was rebuilt but has more time on it then milage. It is backed up by its original 3-speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly and its original 8.5 rear differential with it original 3:92 gear ratio.
Other features include power steering, power seat, wide white radial tires., dual exhaust that exits thru the rear bumper and an original AM radio that is still fully functional. This beautiful T-Bird also has all new steering and suspension components as well as all new brakes front & rear.
This is a very nice high-end driver quality 55 T-Bird that runs and drives incredibly well and has a great look. We just completely detailed and serviced the entire car, so she is ready to hit the road and cruise this season to your local cars & coffee or car show! DONT MISS IT!!
