1955 Ford Other Ford Models

This absolutely gorgeous 1955 Ford Ranch Wagon had a thorough restoration completed in 2017, and we are proud to display it in the Maxmotive Pittsburgh Showroom. In the early 1950s, the era of the wood-bodied station wagon was ending. When Ford introduced a redesigned line of cars it gave wagon buyers the first all-steel wagons in the firms history. These were the Country Sedan, a four-door model and the Ranch Wagon, which was a new two-door model, inspired by the European-term shooting-brake. The Ranch Wagon had either the standard six-cylinder engine or the long-familiar flathead V8, which was optional. This example is believed to only have had 2,136 miles since its restoration in 2017. The original engine has been replaced with a rebuilt 289 V8 from a 1966 Mustang. The paint and interior shows very well and is the perfect color combination for this iconic vehicle.
