Classic Car Overview
Up for sale is a rare 1955 DeSoto Fireflite Coronado, finished in a classic light blue and white two-tone exterior. This is a true mid-1950s Mopar classic with beautiful chrome, original-style trim, whitewall tires, and the desirable DeSoto Hemi V8.
The car runs and is currently sitting in my driveway. It has power steering and the Hemi V8. Recent work includes a rebuilt carburetor, spark plugs, wiring, and a brake master cylinder. The odometer shows approximately 91,513 miles.
This is a mostly complete classic DeSoto and would make a great cruiser, preservation car, or restoration candidate. The body appears straight overall and the exterior presents well for its age. The chrome and trim are mostly intact. As with any 1950s classic, it should be inspected in person and will need some continued attention/restoration depending on the buyers plans.
