1955 Chevrolet Nomad

This is an absolutely gorgeous "Show Quality" 55 Nomad, that has had a full custom build, done in very slick Torch Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, engine bay and under carriage is also painted as slick as top, at time of build had new tinted windshield and rubber, new smoked side and back glass; as well as weather stripping and window felts, all original stainless window and door trim have been re-polished in excellent condition, rear upper gate has been re-chromed in excellent condition, new side view mirrors and door handles, new hood jet and emblem, stainless grill, hood bar and hood moldings look like new; as well as headlight bezels and parking lights, headlight and fender eye brow moldings have been re-chromed in excellent condition, front bumper and bumper guards have also been re-chromed, tailgate chrome spears have been re-chromed in excellent condition, taillight bezels look like new; as well as lens, rear bumper has been re-chromed as well as bumper guards.

Full custom interior, dash has been refinished, new wiring throughout, billet dash bezels and knobs, nicely outfitted with Dakota Classic instrumentation digital dash, heater controls have been reworked to work with the Vintage AC and heat, AC vents nicely mounted under dash, hidden AutoSound stereo system, nicely updated with multi-speed RainGear wipers, Flaming River tilt steering column with billet wheel, power windows, Lokar billet accelerator and brake pedals, all interior chrome garnish moldings are in excellent condition; as well as headliner bows, new headliner and visors, custom front and rear door and side panels with billet handles, factory folding rear seat which has been custom upholstered; as well as rear cargo area, pair of bucket seat up front which recline and fold - driver side is power, custom center console, nicely outfitted with LoKar shifter which works correctly with the 700R4 overdrive trans, carpeted front to back, billet aluminum sill plates.

Under the hood we a Corvette fuel injected LT1, Street & Performance billet aluminum serpentine front runner kit with polished pulleys and brackets, polished AC compressor; as well as alternator, performance aluminum water pump and housings, billet aluminum power steering reservoir tank, heavy duty aluminum radiator and AC condenser, billet recovery tank, thermostatic controlled electric fan, power front disc brakes; drum rear, updated with power rack and pinion steering, front suspension has been redone, this strong running LT1 350 is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive trans, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with stainless mufflers and tips, posi rear with 355 gear.

Rides on a set of Ridlers 17x7 up front with 215/55/17 and 17x8 out back with 235/55/17.
