Chevrolet enabled the everyday man the opportunity to own a virtually custom car without reaching too deep into their wallet, and Chevrolet savored the positive response. HHClassic.com This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two door post car has the characteristics of an original 55 Bel Air but is now powered by a 350 cubic inch motor mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. When looking at the exterior you will find subtle changes such as the one-piece smoothie bumpers intentionally installed upside down, chrome rally wheels and pearlescent paint. The paint finishes on this Bel Air has great shine and depth, depending on the light the pearlescent paint reflects slightly different shades of white. The underside of this car is extremely solid with no areas of corrosion. The interior of the car is well appointed with custom black cloth seating, a tilt column in front of a digital dash and is enhanced with features such as power windows and air conditioning. Power steering and power front disc brakes as well as front and rear sway bars have been installed to aid in the safety and drivability of this classic 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. Pump the gas to open the electronic choke on the four-barrel carburetor, turn the key and this 55 tri-five comes alive and is ready for a short cruise or long road trip, in either case this Bel Air has been well sorted and will not disappoint.
