Classic Car Overview
Cosmetic
Paint/Body: This truck has an extremely clean and solid body. No major or really even minor dents to mention. There's a small dent on the tailgate but besides that, she is smooth. We didn't find any rust on her either. The paint is unique. The canary yellow paint was carefully applied by hand, so while consistent all around, you can see the brush strokes and its a little thin in some places. I'd call her a good 20 footer; from that distance she looks great! Doors, hood, fenders, and bed are all in fantastic shape with no issues to mention.
Interior: The interior is clean. While not perfect, the dash is uncut, the door panels are clean, she has a new rubber floor mat and the bench seat is in good condition. There is one rip on the drivers side of the seat and some minor fading but overall still looks nice. No headliner but the roof has been painted black and looks clean.
Glass/Windows: Glass is in good shape. There is a crack in the windshield on the drivers side but does not effect visibility. The driver window also has one small chip but no cracking. There is some minor shadowing on the vent windows but overall the glass looks good. Driver window rolls up and down nicely. The passenger window appears to be off track and is currently stuck closed.
Trunk/Bed: The bed is in awesome shape. She has new wood and rails in the bed and looks fantastic.
Undercarriage: The underneath is extremely clean. No rust on the frame. The floorpans, stepsides, running boards and inner fender wells are all very solid and clean. No rust to note, although we generally refrain from saying rust free, she is as close as it gets.
Wheels/Tires: The tires are older and are mismatched. If I were keeping her, I would get a new set of matching tires. The wheels are in good shape with Chevy hubcaps all around.
Mechanical
Drivetrain: She has a 235 Inline 6. She fires right up with a touch of the starter pedal which is still on the floor. The manual 4 speed on the floor transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. She drives like an old truck but a really good driving one!
Lights/Electrical: The headlights, taillights and brake lights are all working. The gauges are present but not currently functional.
Brakes: Manual brakes stop straight and strong. No pulling to either side and stop quickly!
