1955 Chevrolet 3100

This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup was converted to four-wheel drive using a replacement chassis that was reportedly sourced from a 1974 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. Power is supplied by a 350ci V8 mated with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck has been refinished in metallic red over white upholstery, and additional equipment includes 16 MB wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a dual exhaust system, later-model bucket seats, a CD receiver, and a wood-plank cargo bed floor. It was purchased by the seller in 2022 and the transmission was subsequently replaced. This 3100 pickup is now offered with a truck cover and a clean Florida title in the sellers name.

The body was repainted in metallic red under prior ownership and mounted to a chassis reportedly sourced from a 1974 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. Features include a chrome grille, dual side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and a wood-plank cargo bed floor.

The 16 MB wheels are mounted with 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The truck is equipped with power steering and manually locking front hubs.

The cab houses later-model bucket seats upholstered in white with embossed bowtie logos in the backrests. Matching upholstery extends to the door panels and armrest on the center console, which also houses a Sony CD receiver. Additional appointments include a Hurst transfer case shifter, lap belts, a cabin heater, and gray carpeting.

The wood-rimmed two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Classic Instruments gauges, including a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The fuel level gauge works intermittently.
