1955 Chevrolet 3100

Dad's '55 Chevy pickup with V8 265 engine is special. He drove it off the lot new and we still have the original Oregon license plate, although the truck has lived in the SoCal desert for many years. There's three-on-the-tree, a wraparound rear window (if you look closely you can see dad's Purdue University sticker), a new windshield and gas tank, radiator, battery, wiring harnesses, fuel pump and a recently rebuilt carburetor. Turn signals and lap belts were added, the gauges work. The interior isn't pretty, but it could be. Dad's truck has never been in an accident, has only two tiny body blemishes and plenty of patina.
