Classic Car Overview
For sale is my 1955 Chevy 210 two-door post, a hot rod that has won more than its share of trophies and given me about 12 years of pure enjoyment. It's time to let someone else have the fun. It runs beautifully and shows even better.
The Body and Paint
The car received a rotisserie restoration and paint by a Florida shop around 2013. When I bought it in 2014, a round of wet sanding confirmed what I suspected: the paintwork was done right. That red absolutely pops in the sun.
Taking It to the Next Level
When I got the car, it had a small-block 350, a 700R4, and a decent tan interior. Nice, but I wanted more. Hotrod Dynamics in Lenoir, NC handled the transformation:
- Replaced the 350 with a 525 HP 6.2L LS3 topped with 8-stack injection and managed by a Holley Terminator X ECU
- Installed a 4L65E transmission with a Lokar sport shifter
- Fitted a beautiful custom TMI interior, including a center console with double-DIN stereo and backup camera, plus a gorgeous dash pad
- Completely rewired the car
Between the lumpy ASA cam and the Flowmaster exhaust, this LS sounds exactly the way a '55 hot rod should.

Honest Assessment
This isn't an ISCA-level, trailer-queen show car, but it presents extremely well. At local shows it regularly takes Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Interior, or Best GM. That's not a reason to buy a car on its own, but it tells you how it looks in person.
It's not a $400K build, but you would struggle to build it for twice what I'm asking. Come see it, take a ride with me, and kick the tires. Happy to answer any questions.
