1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Sedan
From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.
The no-frills Savoy two-door sedan was home to another engine of considerable repute, the infamous 413 Max Wedge, a Super Stock monster block Chrysler introduced in the spring of 1962.

This is an original restoration that is complete and clean. Drives very well and doesn’t need much to be completely restored. This Cadillac would be a great addition to your collection. Start it up and take it to your local car shows and watch the heads turn. From the 1st day I got it, the car draws attention and everyone loves it. As soon as you get it you'll want to show her off.
Everything is there plus extra parts to complete it. All chrome that comes with the car is on it. 4 hubcaps will complete the wheels. Emblems and script are intact. Mechanically sound 331 V8 motor runs very well. Transmission shifts smooth and power brakes work very well. I have the air conditioning parts that come with the car. It’s not hooked up but would be easy to install. There's a new alternator but the original one comes with it. Not sure if the original one works. There's an upgraded aftermarket stereo.
The interior was restored and is immaculate. The headliner and a/c vents are original and clean. The carpet kit was professionally installed and all rocker panels are clean and rust free. Footrests were all redone and are perfect. Door panels are redone and very clean.
Glass is good and all window motors work. Vent windows ( 4 ) open and work well. Glass is good. No cracks. All window seals are tight. No leaks.
Chrome is all there, some needs to be redone. Rear bumper tips and exhaust show no rust. Front bumper is all there and grille is perfect. All lights work but the electronic eye is not hooked up. It’s all there too. I have the original hubcaps but there are aftermarket rims on the car now.
If I was going to keep the car all I would do is refresh the chrome on the bumpers, down the sides and refresh all the emblems. The steering wheel and column are not the original and were replaced with a 1970’s column and tilt wheel. Interior needs nothing. Rocker panels are good and rust free.
This is a rust-free car. The trunk is perfect and clean. It does not have a liner in it. Carpet in trunk is perfect. This car is a solid 4 out of 6!
As I do upgrades I will edit this listing and the price would increase. Buy it now for $18,000. Worldwide shipping is available.
