This head turning TF comes in a brilliant British racing green paint job complemented by a spotless saddle interior and tan convertible top. The convertible top is in exceptional condition and functions as it should. Powering the vehicle is a chipper 1250cc 4 cylinder motor mated to a well sorted manual gearbox. Additionally, the 1250cc motor is believed to be the original numbers matching motor. Based on the immaculate condition of the TF, it is believed a full restoration was completed relatively recently. This vehicle comes to us from an elite private collection. As such the vehicle has been properly stored and maintained. The TF Midget launched on 15 October 1953 and was a facelifted TD. The TF was fitted with the TD Mark II engine, headlights faired into the fenders, a sloping radiator grille concealing a separate radiator, and a new pressurized cooling system along with a simulated external radiator cap. This XPAG engines compression ratio had been increased to 8.1:1 and extra-large valves with stronger valve springs and larger carburetors increased output to 57.5 bhp at 5,500 rpm. Production ended at chassis number TF10100 on 4 April 1955 after 9,602 TFs had been manufactured, including two prototypes and 3,400 TF1500s.
