The 300 Cabriolet D was among the most expensive and luxurious cars available on the German market at the time. Furthermore, the Cabriolet D was one of the rarest body-styles to grace a Mercedes-Benz chassis. Its convertible sedan setup was typically reserved for heads of state and board members.
