Vehicle Overview

A great project truck with no rust and solid bones. With a running engine and some work already progressed, it is well on its way to be a great restoration.

Truck was being restored by my brother-in-law who found it in the back of shop in Arizona. The owner of the shop and my brother-in-law did quite a bit of work done engine, brakes, body, primed. The body is in excellent condition (see pictures) but both passed away. My sister asked me to sell it.

Although I have tried to give an honest assessment of the truck, I am not a mechanic and both my brother-in law and the mechanic who worked on it are no longer with us. It does not yet have a title and will be sold with bill of sale. I have run the VIN through the CHP and DMV and the NICB.

Mechanical

Engine runs well although it has not been taken out on highway. No leaks. Has a new fuel pump and carburetor has been rebuilt. Needs linkages, exhaust pipes and muffler. Clutch, transmission and differential do not appear to have any issues but only have been used to move the vehicle around the property. New battery, alternator, starter. Starter circuit good. Instruments and lights are missing. Many harnesses are there, and some are new but not all. Need shocks. Brakes appear to have been worked on.

Exterior

Body is in excellent condition with no rust or dents. Primer red. Original color is red (engine compartment). Hood needs minor welding at hinge(see pics). It will need ~9 bed as it was stretched about 12". Also will need all other associated bodywork - rear fenders, lights, etc.. It has new glass for door windows and vents Needs shocks and tires. Wheels need to be sand blasted and painted and new hubcaps

Interior

Needs complete interior - seats, instrument cluster. Have some parts including glass panes and a few chrome pieces.
