1953 Studebaker Hawk Custom is now available with Gulf Coast Exotic Auto.



This one-of-a-kind 1953 Studebaker Hawk is a radical custom build completed in 2023 after more than 3,000 hours of expert craftsmanship and over $250,000 invested. Its powered by a fully built 304ci Studebaker V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine was professionally built to support a Paxton supercharger and features hydraulic roller lifters, roller rocker arms, hypereutectic pistons, and custom fuel injection. Power is delivered through a narrowed C4 Corvette rear end with a matching C4 front suspension, all supported by coilovers at all four corners. Additional performance upgrades include 4-wheel power disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, and a dual exhaust system with long-tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Only 4 miles on the odometer (true miles are unknown).

The body of this Hawk underwent extensive fabrication, including a shortened 10-inch wheelbase, reshaped quarter panels, and a rear hatch sourced from a Nissan 350Z. The roof was taken from a 2017 Camaro and reworked to accommodate a laid-back windshield. Other exterior modifications include dropped front fenders, a custom fabricated grille with integrated LED lighting, a modified front spoiler, frenched headlamps, and 1955 Studebaker taillamps. It sits on 15-inch 5-spoke Radir wheels, completing its aggressive and unique stance.

Inside, the car features custom orange leather bucket seats with matching door panels, a repurposed Edsel dashboard, power windows, and a modern custom sound system. Every detail has been carefully considered, making this Hawk not just a showpiece, but a high-performance machine with head-turning style.
