The odometer is showing almost 19,000 miles which I am certain is the original miles on the truck. I was told that the truck was a fire chiefs truck in Colorado. It looks like it was possibly a brush truck that needed to be close to a water source to pump from. It is the last year of the Ford 239 Flathead engine with a 4 speed transmission with a power take-off on it to power the pump. We have had it running and it runs Great. I found a picture of it on the internet that looks like it was taken at lease 15 or 20 years ago. I have the photo in my photos of the truck. We are doing a brake job on it now. I have not seen the first rust hole in it anywhere. This will make a great parade vehicle with a good paint job and a little TLC.
