Classic Car Overview
In 1953 Dodge took HEMI technology from parent company Chrysler and placed it in the Coronet for the very first time turning the auto industry on its ear by setting over 100 land speed records at Bonneville Salt Flats. This beautiful example was treated to an 18 months body-off rotisserie restoration by an auto museum when I found it and bought it. Inside and out, this classic is a work of art and will please everyone at your local cruise night and car show.
The original numbers matching engine is a 3.9 liter 241 Cu. In. Dodge Red Ram HEMI producing amazing horsepower for its time in front of a Gyromatic semi-manual transmission. The body was a rust free car taken down to bare metal and professionally assembled using NOS parts. A fully documented album full of color photos is included as well a many extra parts (starter, trim, etc).
This was the first Dodge to receive a HEMI and as they say, the rest is history!
