1953 Cadillac Series 62

Incredible 1953 Cadillac Series 62 convertible for sale. Beautiful stock Alpine white paint with incredible burgundy leather interior. Paint is shiny with no scratches. Interior is perfect with no rips or tares. Excellent burgundy carpet with newer Cadillac embossed floor mats. Trunk liner is excellent.

This incredible car comes with an upgraded 1956 365 cubic inch Cadillac engine which has more horsepower than the 1953 331 stock cubic inch engine. Several owners swapped out the stock 331 cubic inch engines with low mileage ambulance or hearse Cadillac engines.

I had the transmission completely rebuilt. This Series 62 convertible has Les than 500 miles on the rebuilt transmission. The transmission shifts perfectly. I replaced the exhaust system so the car is quiet and sounds real nice. I replaced the stock steel wheels with beautiful dealer optioned Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with steel belted radial white wall tires. Tires have less than 500 miles on them. All the hydraulics work good for the hydraulic power windows and convertible top.

This wonderful Cadillac is optioned with power steering, power brakes, hydraulic electric windows, factory radio and Autonic Eye for dimming the headlights automatically when approaching cars come into view.

I re gold plated the Cadillac emblems on the hood and trunk. They look spectacular. I have owned this wonderful Cadillac for over 20 years. Downsizing our car collection. If you are looking for a stock unmolested convertible Cadillac than this car turns heads and gets a lot of attention due to its
