Classic Car Overview

This 1952 Studebaker Landcruiser marks Studebaker's Centennial Year of production. An older restoration, with one owner for the last 29 years, this vehicle has been continuously garaged. The majority of the restoration was completed in the first six years of ownership and it has been well maintained since. It is equipped with a smooth running completely rebuilt 232 cubic inch V-8 with new pistons, rod and main bearings, cam bearings, valves etc. The V-8 has less logged less than 6000 miles since and rests in a nicely detailed and exceptionally clean engine compartment of correct colors.

The Land Cruiser has three speed D200 Automatic Drive transmission of Borg Warner design. The transmission pan does leak a small amount as does the front crankshaft seal of the engine. The underside of the car is undercoated, very clean, and all frame and suspension parts are painted black. During restoration all wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake linings and self-adjusters were replaced.

Headlights, parking lights, instrument lights, tube radio, wipers, Climitizer, horn, brake lights, interior lights, cigarette lighter, and clock work as intended. The turn signals function but lever must be returned to center position manually. The car has a positive ground 6-volt system as original.

The car is equipped with P215 75R15 steel belted radials with the narrow white walls. The wheel covers are correct. The Front and rear bumpers along with most of the chrome pieces have been re-plated. Some are NOS originals. Car is equipped with the optional front and back Deluxtyle bumper guards.

The interior was completely redone with new floor carpets, seats re-upholstered, new headliner, new side panels and kick panels. The seats although very nice do not match the original stripped pattern. The glass is good with some of the side glass replaced. Windows channels and cat whiskers all replaced.

Exterior of car is painted a beautiful red and has a mirror like finish. Door, trunk, front wind wing, and front and rear window gaskets replaced during restoration. I have receipts. Some extra parts. Any questions, please give me a call.
