Classic Car Overview

A meticulously custom-built 1951 Pontiac Chieftain street rod. Balanced and blueprinted 454 BIG BLOCK V8 engine paired with a 700 R4 automatic transmission. Featuring a 2500 stall torque converter, complemented by performance enhancements such as an Eagle steel crank and rods, Keith Black pistons, and a Crane roller cam and rockers. The engine bay showcases polished components including custom headers, polished stainless-steel exhaust, Edelbrock intake manifold and carb, MSD ignition, and a Vintage Air system, all supported by a Front Runner serpentine belt system and aluminum radiator. Two 14 inch brushless radiator fans with shroud, and aluminum radiator. The suspension features a high-end Ride Tech air ride system integrated with Art Morrison front components, Mustang II power rack and pinion steering, and Wilwood brakes (11-inch front, 12-inch rear), supported by a 12-bolt posi Chevy rear end with 373 Richmond gears, Moser axles, and adjustable shocks. The chassis is a hand-built 2x4 construction frame. Equipped with GM Hydroboost and Corvette brake master cylinder. The wheels are fitted with wide white wall radials and polished covers, contrasting the PPG Snakeskin Green body paint with Vanilla Pure-colored fenders. Distinctive body modifications include a chopped roof (5.5 inches front, 7 inches rear), suicide doors, shaved rocker panels, frenched headlights and taillights, and extended door bottoms. The car features custom bumpers flipped and shortened, tubbed wheel wells, a narrowed rear axle, a one-piece windshield from a 50 Oldsmobile, a shortened hood and cowl, and more! The attention to detail extends to fabricated engine compartment panels, a smooth firewall, a metal-fabricated center console housing ride height and timing controls, and custom stainless interior trim. In the trunk under removable floor panels are two batteries, one for the engine and one for the stereo. The fuel fill is also in the trunk for a custom built aluminum fuel cell. The side molding trim is hand made. The interior is a two-seater with custom bucket seats, vintage AC controls, classic instruments gauges, stereo system, and an immaculate headliner. Comes with a battery maintainer and cushioned tie down axle straps. A three-level integrated adjustable air ride height controller is located under a trap door in the center console. The vehicle has been driven with 18,886 miles on the odometer, confirming its status as a functional, non-trailer queen build. The exhaust note is deep and throaty yet refined. An award-winning, high-quality, one-of-a-kind street rod that combines classic aesthetics with modern performance and customization.
