Classic Car Overview
1951 International Harvester Model L-110 is a ½ ton pick-up truck in original condition with maintenance and additions as described below. It has 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed transmission with 86648 miles. This is a 4-speed on the floor, not the more common 3-speed on the column. It is in working order and has been driven to local shows in central Michigan.
Accessories included: Service Manual (reprinted), owners manual, parts catalog, maintenance history, and owner history.
The vehicle was a farm vehicle that traded hands in February of 1953 from original Oregon owner to an Oregon farm where an oak stock rack was installed along with an oak walk-up tailgate. This owner had the truck repainted in 1958 in a factory color of light blue. It served there until the owner passed it to an heir in 1984.
That heir held it in storage until a sale to a third owner in November of 2014 when it had 85846 miles. Third owner hired professional service to replace brake lines, fuels lines, fuel filter, and master brake cylinder and to install a new fuel pump, install new brake cables, turn brake drums, new exhaust pipes and pack wheel bearings.
The current owner acquired the vehicle in 2017. Current owner installed a new passenger window, and repaired window mechanisms while installing new window seals and window weather stripping. Rear light bulbs were replaced, and a lens gasket was serviced. Floor mats were installed. Drag link rebuild kit was installed on the steering arm that connects the steering column to the wheel. Coil, wire, points, rotor, cap, condenser, and plugs were replaced. The carburetor was rebuilt.
The vehicle is titled in Michigan and has been stored inside since acquired.
