2010 Cobra Jet

Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

Classic Car Overview

1951 Ford Custom 4 door sedan . Flathead V-8 with 3 speed manual Overdrive trans mission. Super straight body with all original trim as well as rare factory fender skirts and an unusual aftermarket trunk guard. Also equipped with the Deluxe heater and turn signals as well as the original radio. This car has not run since the 70's when the overdrive trans was removed for unknown reasons. There is a complete overdrive transmission in the trunk as well as parts of what was probably the original trans that failed. So everything is there to re-assemble this beauty.
