Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

The 1951 Ford Custom was
very popular and outsold Chevrolet's Bel Air by about 7,000 units in 1951. With
styling by Gordon M. Buehrig, formerly of Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg fame, the car
offered clean lines a beautiful interior and updated performance.
As the later models of the
Ford Custom have become more sought after by collectors, this beautifully
restored example of Ford design in 1951 is in excellent condition inside and
out and shows very well.
Not only is the car
beautiful and very very clean, the car drives very nice, with the transmission,
engine, brakes, steering, and suspension all in excellent condition.
Documented restoration to
