1950 Mercury Custom

Stk#011 1950 Mercury Full Custom Lead Sled An original 4-door Mercury sitting on a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Frame modified for a good ride. Chopped 5.5 inches. Mercury was in Rod & Custom magazine in 1997-1998. Painted a Harley Davidson Wineberry-Magenta Purple with flames with 1953 Chevrolet grill with extra teeth, Brizo Ripple bumpers. 1961 Dodge Polara hubcaps by Hubcap Mike. Coker white wall tires, rear door were filled and shaved; all four were shaved, nosed, decked, lowered, particle filled rear quarter panels. The C-Pillars removed, hard topped, windshield V-Butt flat glass, antenna, headlights, tail lights, third brake light are all frenched in. Power antenna, air ride all four corners, Lake pipes, dual spot lights, Fender skirts, louvered hood, dual outside mirrors, chrome wiper caps, rear license plate chrome bracket with third brake light and license plate light. A real attention getter! The interior by J&B Upholstery, Leather Raspberry and white vinyl on a bench seat in front and back. White headliner, 2-tone custom door panels. Cranberry Carpet, carpeted floor mats, the front seat, arm rest, door handles are all from 1953 Chevrolet. The rear seat is from a 1950 Mercury, 50 Mercury dash, VDO gauges, custom console with power window switches, electric trunk switch, A/C & heat vent switches, air ride switches and gauge. Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio & speakers on each side. Tilt column with Automatic shifter. Custom gas pedal and brake pad. Battery & air tank in trunk covered up. Trunk is boxed off and clean looking to match the interior. Good looking inside! Powered by a 360-engine hooked to a 350 Turbo transmission, polished intake, polished Holley carb. Chrome water pump, Retro chrome air cleaner, chromed Edelbrock valve covers, chrome alternator, chrome A/C compressor, chrome brackets, Billet power steering pump. Chrome pulleys, Flex Fan, Headers, chrome oil dip stick. Chrome master cylinder cover, chrome overflow tank, upper Coolflex water hose, chrome A/C dryer, Billet aluminum spark plug dividers. Chrome hose covers, dual exhaust with stainless tips. Power front disc brakes, drum brakes in rear. Flowmasters. Drives and handles good!
