Introduced in 1950, the Ford Crestliner was a premium, limited-production two-door model based on Fords celebrated postwar shoebox design. Created to compete with the eras fashionable hardtop coupes, the Crestliner distinguished itself with exclusive trim, upscale appointments, and Fords first vinyl-covered roof. It was produced for only the 1950 and 1951 model years before being succeeded by the Victoria hardtop.
