1949 GMC 4100 pickup driving on a 1992 GMC Sonoma pickup chassis and drivetrain. The engine is the 4.3 litter V6, with power steering, front disc brakes and air conditioning, automatic transmission and a working Sonoma instrument cluster in the center console. This is a daily driver that is almost complete. The last owner gave it a paint job, new interior, stereo, tow hitch, Ac work, front windshield, front grill and bumper, engine manifold gaskets, ect. After loving cars for over 40 years I thought I would try my luck buying a truck with good looks and great bones and learn how to tinker and tweak myself. After 12 months in my carport, I have confirmed I hate working on Automobiles, It sits the way I bought it. Needs the doors and hood slightly adjusted, door windows need new gaskets, a better stereo, a better wood rear bed. I'm willing to sell it for THOUSANDS less then what I paid, just no interest.Â
