Summary
There are plenty of traditional street rods out there, but you dont see many 1948 Pontiac Silver Streak Fastbacks- and certainly not many built like this one.
The sweeping fastback body provides the vintage style, while the 455 Pontiac V8, built Turbo 400, Firebird front clip and rear end, power steering, power disc brakes, and staggered American Racing wheels give it the mechanical ingredients of a much more modern street machine.
Best of all, the builder kept it Pontiac-powered. Instead of taking the easy route with a small-block Chevrolet conversion, theres a 455 Pontiac V8 under the hood, giving this custom the power and personality appropriate for the name on the car.
With only 8,037.2 miles since completion, this Silver Streak offers a great opportunity to own an unusual American restomod thats already built, sorted, and ready to enjoy.
A distinctive Pontiac Fastback with big-cube Pontiac power, great street presence, and the upgrades to make it as much fun to drive as it is to look at.
