1948 Ford four-door sedan painted in a police cruiser paint scheme. This vehicle was purchased out of Placerville, California. The engine is a 1955 265 V8 Chevrolet small block, paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The vehicle has been converted to a 12 V system. New VDO gauges installed, new fuel tank, new radiator with electric fan, electric wipers, and heater. An Edelbrock carburetor was also installed. The upholstery has been freshly redone in white and black vinyl to match the exterior. This vehicle has been fully serviced and was taken to Justified Performance in Rocklin, California, with receipts in excess of $5,000. That includes new tires, new brakes, new master cylinder, new starter motor, new electric fuel pump, a tuneup, a pan gasket, and other numerous repairs. The car runs and drives very well and is a great cruiser or vehicle that can be used for promotional purposes or movie car. The vehicle comes with Mayberry police decals that are attached to a magnet that can be taken off anytime. This vehicle is ready for a new caretaker to enjoy.
