Only 1,970 miles on a body off frame, rotisserie custom build! It cost over $100,000 and took 2 years. The goal was to make a classy ride that has high performance and is still comfortable. I would say they succeeded. EXTERIOR: All metal body and fenders. High quality fit and finish. Absolutely straight. No rust, damage or body work showing. Gorgeous color! Its a merlot metallic laid out evenly and is polished like glass. Aside from a few small touch ups it is stunning. Every piece of chrome and trim was replaced or restored. It has bumper extensions and fender stone shields. All new smoked glass. All new weatherstrips and seals. Its a power convertible top with tan Haartz cloth. Upgraded electric wiper system. Its rolling on a set of chrome wheels: 20s in back, 19s in front. INTERIOR: I am sitting in a very comfortable bucket seat. The drivers side is power, passenger side reclines. All custom upholstered door panel and seats. Custom cut carpet with bound edges. Custom fabricated center console which is home to a modern stereo system, a/c controls, 12 V receptacles, cup holders and an e-brake handle. The funnest part of all is the 6-speed manual shifter. The dash is beautifully painted like the car. All the chrome sparkles. It has a matching set of VDO gauges including a clock. Sharp looking steering wheel on a tilt column. The door windows are power. It has seat belts front and back. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a very healthy 383 stroker motor making over 400 hp. It has a lopey cam, aluminum heads, a chrome high rise with a big dual feed Holley carb, MSD ignition and headers. The carb is polished, has electric choke, premium lines and fittings. The front of the motor has billet brackets, serpentine belt, billet brackets, polished alternator, and power steering. The air conditioning compressor is down low, and the hoses are nearly run. The aluminum radiator, polished overflow and electric fan keep it running cool. The firewall is smooth, the metal is painted glossy. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid and the jamb are painted slick, weatherstrip is soft. It has been boxed and upholstered with a carpeted floor. The battery is behind the back panel, there is a disconnect switch on the floor. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and flipped on a rotisserie. The floors are pristine metal painted a glass finish red merlot. The chassis was taken down to a bare frame and painted a smooth semi gloss black. It was given a Heidts front end with Mustang ll independent suspension, tubular control arms, swaybar, rack & pinion steering. In back the springs and bushings were replaced. Upgraded KYB gas shocks and lowering blocks. The brake system was entirely replaced and upgraded with disc at all 4 wheels. It has an e-brake system. Carefully bent, all welded dual exhaust system with Xlerator mufflers. The fuel system was replaced. Looking up at the motor it is clean. It has an anodized oil pan and high torque starter. It has a T5 6-speed manual trans with a hydraulic clutch. Rebuilt driveshaft connects to a Ford 9 inch rear. SERVICE: We inspected the car and recalibrated the speedometer, replaced the heater valve and rebuilt a power window motor. CONCLUSION: Its the whole package- stunning looks, muscle car performance, comfortable and reliable!
