1948 Ford F1

This 1948 Ford F1 Series Pickup was restored to a very high standard for country music star Wynona Judd. Beautifully finished in Wimbledon White with a fully upholstered Mauve interior. Tastefully applied and hand painted pin striping adorns the body and the bed is finished in blonde wood. Rolling on wide whites mounted on color matched steel rims and polished dog dish hub caps.

Mechanically the truck has been updated with a 350 cubic inch GM crate motor fronting a Turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission. Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor, hooker headers and electronic ignition. Power assisted front disc brakes and power steering. Air conditioning and power windows.

This truck starts up easy and is a dream to drive, not like your great granddaddy's old Ford. The engine provides lots of power and sounds great doing it. Steering and stopping is fully modernized. The transmission shifts smoothly, kicks down as it should and allows you to cruise at highway speeds with out drama.

The restoration was believed to be completed in the 90's under Wynona's ownership. It was sold at a "garage sale" at her property outside Franklin Tennessee in 2001 as reported by ABC News in preparation of downsizing while her dream house was under construction on a nearby 500 acre ranch she had recently purchased. The car was bought there by a business entity in Yorktown, Indiana and soon therafter spent time at a Bed and Breakfast in Metropolis. Illinois just a few hours from Wynona's property before being sold again and relocated to Texas in 2014 by the most recent owner.

The truck shows just under 5,300 miles since the restoration. It was driven only sparingly during current ownership, always garaged kept. It is now offered for sale with a clean Texas Title. Shown by appointment only.
