EXTERIOR: ALL STEEL BODY AND IT IS STRAIGHT!
The stance and overall look of this truck is first class! Outstanding fit and finishes, every square inch is clean and straight. The fenders are metal, hood and doors fit great, doors shut like a new car! Custom headlights and rear tail lamps were installed in the custom rear roll pan. The door handles were removed and are remote controlled. The fuel filler was relocated to the bed. The truck is painted with a beautiful custom color mix of PPG black and orange. The metallic is laid out evenly and the clear is polished like glass. All new weatherstrips and smoked glass and features a V- Butt windshield. It sits on a set of staggered polished Colorado custom wheels 17x7 in the front with 215/45ZR17 and 17x8 255/45ZR17 in the rear for a nice stance. The truck bed is all fabricated and very tastefully done and looks great.
INTERIOR: It's a rich, clean looking interior. The black and orange color leather upholstery looks great against the exterior orange paint. Down on the floor is black carpet with bound edges. The inside of the cab is upholstered along with custom made door panels. The bucket seats are very comfortable. The driver seat is a six way power seat. The power window switches are nicely mounted in the door panels as are the door handles. It also has power locks on the key chain. The dash is painted slick and has nice looking custom Auto Meter gauges and a neatly installed Vintage A/C and heat system. It has a Kenwood Stereo/4CD/MP3 system with two 4x9 inch speakers under the dash. The color matched steering column is an Ididit column with a Colorado Customs polished aluminum steering wheel on a tilt column and shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very clean and uncluttered. The beautifully painted engine bay is smooth with the holes filled and a custom firewall. At the heart of it is a reliable, smooth running 350ci engine with awesome Billet flame engraved valve covers, air cleaner and a few more goodies: Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, MSD ignition system and a set of ceramic coated Sanderson block hugger headers. The front of the motor has air conditioning with Billet polished pulleys. The polished 4 core radiator and electric fan keep it running cool.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront was significantly upgraded with a Heidts Mustang independent suspension with tubular control arms, sway bar, coil over shocks, rack & pinion steering. The rear suspension was replaced, the factory Chevy differential was replaced with a narrowed Ford 9 with 2 lowered leaf springs. There is a custom dual exhaust running all the way out the back with chrome exhaust tips. The brake system was completely replaced and upgraded with power front disc brakes up front. It also has an upgraded 20 gallon Classic Performance Products aluminum tank which was relocated from behind the seat to behind the 9 rear end; it has all stainless lines. Looking up at the motor it's spotless and has a high torque starter and a chrome flywheel cover. The 700R 4-speed automatic transmission is also clean, it was rebuilt and has a remote finned aluminum oil cooler. A new driveshaft leads back to the Ford 9 rear end that has 3.73 gears. It is really clean under this truck. The chassis and floors have been powder coated the same as the exterior color.
This is a very comfortable, reliable truck with that WOW factor!
