1947 Ford Super Deluxe Business Coupe powered by a 239 cubic inch flathead V8 engine paired with a three-speed manual transmission three on the tree (column shifter). The exterior displays burgundy paint, complemented by bright chrome trim including the grille, bumpers, headlight bezels, and steel wheels with Ford hubcaps, beauty rings and wide whitewall tires. Under the hood a nicely painted and finished engine and engine bay. Only minor paint imperfections and a missing hood ornament tip. Inside, a traditional bench seat with fabric and vinyl upholstery in original style, a single front bench seat-as expected from the Business Coupe model-and a well-maintained headliner. The stereo is inop. Recent service includes new front and rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. Instrumentation includes original gauges supplemented by an aftermarket temperature gauge, as the stock temp gauge is inop. Under the dash is an electric fuel pump toggle switch. The engine start-up is straightforward: activate the electric fuel pump switch, turn the ignition key, flip the on lever up, and push the start button. On the road the car handles well with smooth braking, good visibility, and a straightforward column-shifted manual transmission that is easy and smooth to operate.
