During the restoration, the Fleetmaster received a full repaint in its current Toreador Red Poly exterior paint that still presents very well today. The Chevrolets Toreador Red Poly exterior shines extremely well and is in overall excellent condition. The Fleetmasters exterior is nicely complimented by its factory chrome and stainless trim, hand-laid pinstriping, and a set of Boyd Coddington Chrome 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Dayton Daytona ZR tires. This Fleetmaster features a powered Tan canvas convertible top that is in excellent condition and operates just as it should. The custom Tan leather interior is in nice condition throughout with some light staining and wear present. The interior of this beautiful Chevrolet features a number of custom touches including: Chrome Ididit tilt steering column, VDO gauge cluster with in-dash tachometer, polished Lokar shifter, and brushed interior door handles. Powering this Fleetmaster convertible is a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch small block crate engine backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they should and effortlessly pull this Chevrolet down the road. Transferring power to the rear wheels is a Chevrolet 10-bolt posi-traction rear end equipped with 3.73:1 final drive gears. This 1947 Chevrolet handles the road very well and aiding that is the welded-in Camaro front subframe.
