It is powered by its original 245ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Showing 82,787 believed original miles, this Packard is well-suited as a driver-quality pre-war convertible for touring and local events. The Packard 110 Convertible represented Packards entry-level offering in 1941, designed to broaden the brands reach while maintaining its reputation for engineering quality and smooth performance. This is one of the final pre-war Packards produced before WWII halted civilian automobile production. This Packard was acquired by its current owner in 2019 to add to their collection of pre-war motorcars to be driven regularly and toured. During their ownership, they invested more than $44,000 in restoration to create a mechanically excellent and period-correct Packard. The exterior of this Packard is in overall good condition, finished in a two-tone maroon over white that shows visible chips and cracking consistent with age and use. The convertible top is finished in maroon with a matching boot cover. Brightwork is in overall goodcondition with somewear andpittingacross trim elements.The headlights, sidelights, turn signals, taillights, andwindshieldwipers all function correctly.The Packardhas wire wheels fitted with Coker Classic whitewall tiresreplaced in2018.The 110presents asa beautiful driver that has a desirable color combination that is ready to be enjoyed! The interior of the Packard is in overall great condition trimmed in red vinyl upholstery with matching piping and black carpeting. The matching maroon painted dashboard is in great condition and the knobs throughout are in good condition with no cracking. The instruments and gauges are in good working order which include the heater, defrost, AM radio and clock. Overall, the interior is beautiful and in great working condition, ready for local shows and weekend drives! The Packardretainsits original 245ci inline-six engine with a downdraft carburetor and pairedtoathree-speed column-shift manual transmission with overdrive. The6Vbattery is mounted under the drivers seat (dated 6/22), and a battery cutoffis next to the drivers seat.The Packard has drum brakes.From 2019 to present, the Packard has received extensive work across multiple systems totaling over $44,000 in documented parts and service. The drivetrain and overdrive system saw significant attention, including replacement and servicing of the overdrive solenoid, relay, lockout switch, transmission components, U-joints, and driveshaft work.
