1941 Jeep Other Jeep Models

1941 MILITARY WILLYS JEEP ¼ ton Utility Truck with reconditioned engine & likely transmission, that runs well (see photos of gauges while jeep runs) (12 volt electric) with key ignition on a 1946 frame (CJ2 - SC free and clear state title). Garage kept.

Accessories are shown in the photos with some additions.

Body is in near perfect condition, see photos of underneath. Most of the reconditioning has been done by a professional shop.

Internal engine components have been professionally reconditioned, and external engine parts (battery (Interstate)), carb, distributor, starter, radiator, and alternator) have been replaced with new ones by professional mechanics. Carb and distributor have been tuned by professional mechanics. Front to rear cold dry compression engine test shows 118, 102, 112, and 117. Standard firing order is 1, 3, 4, and 2 from military manual. Photos of spark plugs are shown.

Transmission appears new/reconditioned, see photos, but look past the rusty tail pipe, photo 19.

New odometer and gas gauge need to be connected. Carb and parking brake need some slight adjustment. There is a small cut in the passenger rear tire tread which resulted from improper transport with a ramp trailer. Spare tire is new and could replace it.

Cold dry starts need some gas or ether to start sometimes.

Exhaust and muffler (extra new one will be shipped with jeep) are new and it is the 1946 efficient design.

Gas tank has been cleaned and given a protective coat inside. Fuel and oil filters have been replaced with new ones. Fuel is the non-ethanol type with Stabil added.

Exhaust temperature control remains wired in the open position, see photo of driver side engine, photo 9.

Inside wheelbase is narrow at 43 inches inside to inside and a flatbed truck or trailer is needed for safe transport. An enclosed trailer would be best, but the top can be removed and windshield lowered for transport on a flatbed truck or trailer.

A certified check or funds wired to my account are needed before vehicle shipment. My account needs to reflect the funds are present before shipment. The free and clear title will be signed and mailed to the new owner via priority mail after shipment. This is the standard Autotrader sale protocol.
