Please call us to schedule an appointment. If you love the look of a 1940 Ford truck (and who doesnt?) and patina trucks, this 1940 would look great sitting in your garage! The exterior is classic patina truck with a bright red paint featuring faux wear and tear and sun fade on this super solid body! That is covered with a clear coat to give it a show quality shine and protect it for many years to come. That look is paired with black steel wheels with center caps and beauty rings. Those wheels are wrapped in radial tires that are tucked slightly into the curvy fenders, for a fantastic stance! That body has been bolted to an S-10 frame for modern steering and suspension. Open the door and youll find a leather pleated bench seat, billet steering column, pinstriping on the dash, a billet floor shifter, and white faced VDO gauges with chrome trim rings. A billet throttle pedal and seat belts have been added as well to complete the interior. Under the hood sits a crate 350 small block Chevrolet V8 with aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, headers, and finished off with black finned valve covers and air cleaner. An aluminum radiator keeps it cool with an electric fan and overflow bottle. That engine is paired to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission that shifts on the floor. True dual exhaust with mufflers give this truck a nice hot rod sound with turnouts before the rear axle. Power steering and power front disc brakes make this truck fun, even on long haul cruises regardless of who is behind the wheel. The inside of the bed is nicely finished with wood and stainless strips and a billet fuel door to keep the exterior body lines clean. There is also a tow hitch installed to pull a small trailer or pop up camper and FORD emblazoned on the tailgate to let the people you pass know what just blew their doors off!
