This 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe is a very nicely built custom all-steel coupe finished in original 1940 Ford Lyon Blue Au-Acrylic urethane paint code M1799 with a gray interior. It is powered by a 365 V8 from a 1965 Cadillac Eldorado and paired with a 1968 Chevy Standard 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It features a 1956 Cadillac El Dorado 365 V8 bored .030 over with the original 2x4 setup and air cleaner, making for a very rare and hard-to-find combination. Additional equipment includes a Maverick rear with 4.11 gears, dropped front axle, Vega power steering box, Speedway Mustang power brakes with front discs and rear drums, heat, air conditioning, and a Ford Masterpiece 5 gauge kit. The paint and bodywork present very well, the undercarriage is nicely finished, and the interior has a classic old-school look. This is a great-running and driving coupe that stands out from the crowd and makes a strong impression at local shows and cruises.
