This car was originally built and raced by Bill Clark and Jimmy Cox in Austin, Tx. This traditional hot rod was customized throughout the 1950s and 1960s. The current owner of Little Sandy first saw the car around Austin in his youth while working at a local service station down the road from Bill Clarks garage and he fulfilled a dream by purchasing the car in 1971. Since then, he has been the custodian of the car for 53 years, and it sits today just as he purchased it back in 1971.
