This truck is powered by an inline 6-cylinder engine which is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. While the powerplant appears more modern than what it would have had in 1940 the transmission could very well be the one it came with in 1940. The two-tone green/dark green paint scheme has that vintage look making this a great choice for that spare ranch vehicle. To that end seat belts have been added for 3 cab positions so you can feel safe heading into town for supplies. Inside this green machine one will find that not much has been altered (other than the addition of a matte black headliner and the seat belts) - even the front cowl vent and tilt-out windshield work as they originally did.
