Classic Car Overview
Here, we have a 1939 Ford Coupe for sale. This is a real steel 39 Ford that has been street-rodded and packaged with many excellent driver options. The body is rock solid and we can see that down the sides are all straight with all the body lines flowing seamlessly from the front to the back. The fenders and running boards are in excellent condition as well. We can see that it has the updated headlights with the built-in signals. It also has the front and rear bumper bumpers. Looking at the grill its all in great condition with all the bars having a great finish. Everything is showcased in the Butternut Yellow paint that was buffed and polished out to a gorgeous finish thats as slick as a ribbon. The front trim on the grill and hood has a brilliant finish along with the dual mirrors and handles. All the glass in this Coupe is also beautiful and we can see new seals and weatherstripping were installed at the time of the restoration. To finish off the exterior its sitting on a set of 15 American Racing Wheels Next, we will look at the interior of this Coupe. On the inside, its done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior. It comes with the bucket seats that have been redone in the tuck and roll covers. The seat covers are done to match the styling and have an excellent fit with the glass going up and down as it should. This street rod is set up with the B&M Shifter, which features the line lock option. It also comes with the emergency brake option with the handle located between the buckets. Looking at the dash we can see it has the upgraded Stewart Warner Gauges along with having the dash mounted tach. The radio and upgraded Vintage AC/Heat controls are hidden in the center of the dash. It also has the tilt wheel option and a new three-bar steering wheel. This 39 has been fitted with a half cage and they did a great job with the installation. Inside the trunk is in excellent condition and is detailed out with the spare. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood, it all has a beautiful detail. The firewall is all solid and is as slick as the rest of the car. The power comes from the built GM 408 V8 engine thats set up with Aluminum Heads and Aluminum Intake with Holley Sniper Fuel Injection. Its dressed out in the aluminum finned valve covers with matching air cleaner. To keep it cool its running dual electric fans. It comes equipped with Power Steering and the Mustang II Rack and Pinon set up under the front. It also comes with Disc Brakes on the front, and they are Power as well. This Coupe has been upgraded with the Vintage AC and Heat. For exhaust, it has Hooker Headers with dual pipes and mufflers. The 408 V8 runs through the 350 Turbo Trans and 8 Ford Rear End. When we look under it we can see that they did an excellent job on installing the Mustang II setup. All the bushings and springs look to be in great condition. We can also see that the floor pans are all rock solid and that the frame looks to be in excellent condition as well.
