Among Alfa Romeos greatest prewar achievements, the 6C 2500 occupies a special place. Offered here is chassis 915075, an evocative Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Spyder Corsa that pays tribute to Alfa Romeos legendary competition cars of the late 1930s and early postwar era. While the cars early history remains incompletely documented, Alfa Romeo historian John DeBoer notes that the chassis resurfaced in Argentina during the 1980s before being acquired and subsequently bodied by renowned Argentine craftsman Jorge Carril during the 1990s.
