1938 International Harvester Custom

This paneltruck streetrod has 100% all original metal! Nothing has been replaced or patched. Body is incredibly straight for its age, though please note there are some dents on the side of the running boards and the passenger side front fender looks like someone sounded out a dent. A Chevy Nova front clip was installed back in 1991by a professional streetrod builder in Cave Junction, Oregon. Powered by strong 350 Chevy engine, with Edelbrock performer intake manifold with Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and paired with a turbo 350 automatic transmission. A brand new Rochester Quadrajet still in the box is included so a carburetor rebuild is not necessary. Comes with Centerline style wheels that are 15" on the rear and 14" on the front. Still has the original California license plates issued to it in 1938. This truck was my daily driver until I parked it in the old garage it now sits in...about 20 years ago or so. I am the only owner of this 1938 international paneltruck streetrod since it was made drivable and the and only person to deal with the CHP inspection and DMV paperwork. This paneltruck needs all the glass replaced. Front & rear windows are original but side glass have been replaced once but needs it again. Also new felt for the side windows needs replaced. The rubber holding in front & rear windows is old original and hard with some cracks in it, still firmly holding the glass. I'm not sure where or what the bucket seats came out of. They need professional mounting as they were mounted by an amateur...me. This truck is incredibly close to being back on the road and being a daily driver again. All It should need is new tires(tires on it were good when 1st parked, but after being parked so long...not too good anymore), a new 12 volt battery, the carburetor switched out and it should fire back up ready to drive away. I did get a non op from the DMV the day I parked it, so there's are NO back fees to pay. Just renew the registration and it's all yours to enjoy driving away in. I had my fun camping out inside it. I used to have a mattress that fit perfect in the back perfect for sleeping overnight in. I may still have the 12 volt fridge I used to have in the back. I have to look in my basement to see if it's still packed away or if I may have already sold it at a yard sale we had several years ago.
