1938 Diamond T Custom

This 1938 Diamond T custom Pick Up was built from the ground up to the highest standards with approximately 1100 miles on it since its build completion. The build started with an original 1938 diamond T truck cab and chassis. The stock cab and front sheet metal were fitted to a 2006 GMC 1 ton chassis and the rear bed and fenders were expertly handcrafted from steel resulting in a Diamond T like no other. The paint and body are spectacular, laser straight expertly fitted and massaged door gaps.
The paint work was fully sanded and buffed to perfection. While this truck appears black in direct sunlight, you can see a glimmer of dark red pearl in the paint. The dash is painted dark cherry pearl in contrast to the black finish of the truck. All of the chrome was refinished to show quality. All the glass is new and back and side glass is smoked. The custom maple bed was handcrafted and beautifully finished and the tailgate has gas shocks and hidden latches. The interior is all custom leather finished and the dash insert houses classic instrument gauges in a machine turned aluminum panel. All wiring in the truck was replaced with new harnesses. Further features include vintage air conditioning, power windows, custom steering column and auto sound stereo system with remote control and speakers built-in behind the seats. It drives like a modern 1 ton truck. The complete chassis and drive train was sourced from a brand new 2006 cab and chassis with the 8100 Vortech fuel injected V8 and a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. It has four wheel hydro boost disc brakes, power steering, independent front suspension with sway bar and a big Dane 60 rear differential. A set of custom black powder coated wheels were made specific this is truck.
