2010 Cobra Jet

Following in the tradition of previous Ford factory built Mustang race cars like the 1968 Cobra Jet, the Boss 429 and the FR500S Mustang Challenge car, Ford Racing and AAI started work on a production run of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs in January 2010. Ford Racing built 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs at Ford vendor facilities.

1937 Plymouth. STREETABLE RACE CAR 450 horsepower 400 with a tremec 6 speed manual trans, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, custom chassis, vintage air and heat. Built as a retirement project by a Chrysler chassis engineer in Detroit to race Pikes peak. Did 139 mph in the Monster standing mile. Runs and drives perfect. New tires, 21 mpg on the road.
