1937 Dodge Series D5

Restoration Project, some work done, restoration or Rat Rod
1937 Dodge D5 coupe, 2 door, flathead 6, original numbers for the engine, chassis and body.
This is a project I have sourced all the parts for (that I know of) over the years and is ready to be restored or converted to a Ratrod. I have a letter confirming the body, chassis and engine numbers from the Chrysler Archives and a copy of the original factory build card. Engine is not frozen but I have not tried to run for the last 6 years, it did run and drive when parked.

I had someone put together a 33 page historical scrapbook of all things 1937 including the original owners record of mileage and fuel.

Sadly I don't have the time to do this project as I am still working full time and have run out of garage space.

I have new safety glass for the whole vehicle and seals for the glass.
The seat has been upholstered with custom seat covers in the style of 1930's.
I have two new running boards fabricated ready for fitting.
There is a new 12v alternator as I figured no-one would want a 6v anymore.
I have two 12v wiper motors as the old vacuum ones (included) are madness.
I do not have the old fuel tank, it was replaced with a new poly replacement tank in the same location and with a fuel level sensor.

I believe I have almost all the hardware and parts for this vehicle, except a wiring loom and the front flying mascot is not correct for this year.

Body has patches and filler but the chassis appears solid and not needing welding anywhere.

This vehicle is sold as seen. Local inspection is possible anytime with prior appointment.
